The project
Warp & Peace is an accessible asymmetric bridge simulator built around teamwork, roleplay and cosmic mischief. The promotional film needed to make its social experience immediately legible while feeling like a lovingly overcommitted rerun of vintage television science fiction.
The approach
I designed and built the spaceship bridge in my garage for about $250, using a wooden frame and recycled packaging foam. I directed the ensemble, designed the lighting, photographed and edited the piece, leaning into heightened performances, oversized music and practical textures until the intentionally cheesy ingredients became a cohesive world.
What remained
The trailer is currently being used to introduce the unreleased game through promotional material and funding applications.
