The project
Cat Cafe is a cosy Fortnite world filled with hidden corners, glowing landscapes and cats with questionable names. Working closely with creator Inge Berman, I shaped in-engine footage into a trailer that feels less like an advertisement and more like an invitation to wander in.
The approach
The process began with straightforward coverage and quickly became a virtual camera playground. Inge and I developed the in-engine shots together; I directed the trailer, selected the music, edited, graded, designed the graphics and built the sound around the warmth and humour already present in the game.
What remained
The island has welcomed more than 600,000 plays. It remains one of those rare projects whose soundtrack I still enjoy after finishing the edit.
