The project

Before Inge's kitchen was renovated and the household moved on, we wanted to remember the room as it actually felt: part apothecary, part stage, part living archive.

The approach

Rather than tidying away the density, I leaned into it. Window light, hanging plants, small gestures and playful costumes turned the kitchen into a character of its own, while Inge and Ollie brought distinct performances to the same environment.

What remained

The photographs preserve a place that no longer exists in this form, with the warmth, oddness and intimacy that made it worth remembering.
